AXA has announced the appointment of Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet as Group Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 1, 2026.

Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet brings extensive experience across business leadership and the public sector. She previously served as Minister of Labour and Employment and as a Member of the National Assembly in France, and earlier served as an adviser to Emmanuel Macron, then Minister of the Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs. She graduated from Sciences Po Paris, HEC and Harvard Kennedy School.

Before entering politics, she held senior positions at major companies. She began her career at AXA, where she served as a project manager, before joining insurance group Groupama, where she became Secretary General of the Group and a member of the Group's executive committee. She later served as General Director of Central Functions at commercial real estate group Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, overseeing human resources, IT and legal functions, while also serving as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Air France-KLM Group.

In her new role, Panosyan-Bouvet will oversee human resources activities at Group level, including talent management, compensation and social relations, and will report to Karima Silvent, Deputy General Secretary of AXA. Silvent previously served as Group Chief Human Resources Officer before being promoted in October last year, with responsibility for human resources, audit, compliance and AXA EssentiALL, among other areas
