Airbus has announced the appointment of Netra Gowda as Vice President, HR Transformation, Digital & AI, effective September 1, 2026.

Gowda previously served as Vice President, Strategy, Planning and Portfolio at Stellantis. Prior to that, she spent more than a decade at Airbus, where she held the role of Head of Advanced Analytics, AI & Cloud Acceleration at Airbus Defence and Space, and earlier served as Chief of Staff to the Digital Transformation Officer and Head of Culture Change for Digital Transformation. Her career also includes positions at Intel Corporation and DaimlerChrysler. In addition, she has been a Millennium Leadership Fellow with the Atlantic Council since 2019.

Gowda's return comes at a time when Airbus is continuing to scale AI and digital technologies across its global operations. In her new role, she will lead three interconnected areas—HR transformation, digital strategy execution, and AI-enabled organizational change—ensuring that workforce transformation progresses in step with technological advancement.
