Nomad Foods has announced the appointment of Pınar Çanakcı as Chief People Officer, reporting directly to CEO Dominic Brisby.

Before joining Nomad Foods, she spent 14 years at Danone, most recently serving as Vice President Human Resources for Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA). Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership positions at Kimberly-Clark and Mercer HR Consulting.

In her new role, Çanakcı will lead the company's global people strategy, covering talent development, organisational effectiveness, workplace culture, employee engagement and HR strategy.
