Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced the appointment of Kristin Oliver as Chief Human Resources Officer. She will be based at Hyatt's global headquarters in Chicago and will report to CEO Mark Hoplamazian.

Prior to joining Hyatt, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at HanesBrands, where she also held the roles of Chief Legal Officer. Earlier in her career, she held senior HR leadership positions at Walgreens and Chico's FAS, and served in various senior roles at Walmart, including Executive Vice President of People for Walmart U.S., Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the International Division.

CEO Mark Hoplamazian said that Oliver brings extensive cross-functional leadership experience across major consumer brands, and that her pragmatic, purpose-driven approach will help Hyatt continue to strengthen its talent and organizational capabilities.
