Nestlé announced that Richard Xu has been appointed Head of Human Resources for Nestlé Greater China. He will be responsible for talent strategy, organizational structure, and performance management, reporting to Kais Marzouki, Chairman and CEO of Nestlé Greater China.

Xu previously served as Head of Human Resources for FrieslandCampina China, and later as Global Director of Learning & Development at the company's Netherlands headquarters, most recently acting as interim Head of HR for FrieslandCampina China. Earlier in his career, he held senior HR roles at Virtuos, Novartis, Diageo and Mattel.

Nestlé is currently undergoing its most significant organizational transformation in recent years. Xu's appointment is seen as a key move for Greater China to actively participate in this organizational reshaping.
