Mondelēz International announced the appointment of Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Banati most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Kenvue. Prior to that, he was Vice Chair and Chief Financial Officer of Kellanova, where he also served as President for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region. Earlier in his career, he held management, finance and strategy roles at Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes and Kraft Foods, a predecessor company to Mondelēz International.

Mondelēz said Banati's emerging market experience and general management perspective will provide important support for the company's strategic growth agenda.
