Robert Bosch GmbH announced that Dr. Christian Fischer has succeeded Stefan Hartung as Chairman of the Board of Management.

Fischer previously served as Deputy Chairman, overseeing the Consumer Goods business and leading Bosch's largest-ever acquisition of the HVAC business from Johnson Controls and Hitachi. He also served as CEO of Smartrac from 2006 to 2012.

Fischer takes over as Bosch faces significant earnings pressure, with his top priority being to restore profitability while sustaining long-term investment in electrification and digital transformation.
